Louisville Transfer Defensive Tackle Jerry Lawson Signs With Oklahoma State
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has signed a defensive tackle out of the ACC. According to a report from 247Sports, Louisville transfer Jerry Lawson has signed with the Cowboys.
Lawson checks in at 6-2, 295 pounds and is out of Breckenridge, TX. This past season for the Cardinals, Lawson recorded 16 total tackles, seven of which were solo stops, 2.5 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks. He also had one quarterback hurry and one pass break up.
He transferred to Louisville from Abilene Christian ahead of the 2025 season. His 2023 and 2024 seasons were very good as he recorded 65 total tackles in ’24, 14.0 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks across 14 starts to earn first team All-Conference honors.
In ’23, Lawson recorded 41 total tackles and 5.5 tackles for loss across 11 games, seven of which were starts.
It’s believed Lawsone will have one year of eligibility remaining.
