STILLWATER – Eric Morris and Co. have added their first tight end out of the transfer portal. On Thursday morning, it was announced LSU tight end Donovan Green has signed with Oklahoma State.
Green is originally out of Dickinson, TX, and is coming off his redshirt junior season with LSU. He checks in at 6-4, 250 pounds, so Morris and Co. have added both height and size at the position.
This past season, Green played in all 13 games for the Tigers and recorded just two receptions for 40 yards.
He transferred to LSU from Texas A&M ahead of the 2025 season. He appeared in eight games in ’24, seeing offensive snaps in games against McNeese and New Mexico State, but the other six games were on special teams with no stats recorded.
Green missed the entire 2023 season with a preseason knee injury. But in 2022 as a true freshman, Green had his best season as he played in 10 games, starting in four, with 22 catches for 233 yards and two touchdowns.
Green will have one year of eligibility remaining and is now the 29th player added out of the transfer portal for Eric Morris and Co.
