Oklahoma State Lands Commitment From North Texas Running Back Dennis Moody III

STILLWATER – Eric Morris and Co. have added another running back from North Texas and the transfer portal as Dennis Moody III announced the commitment to Oklahoma State via Instagram.

Moody III is a 5-11, 165 pounds, is originally out of Reedy HS and Frisco, TX, and is entering his redshirt junior season. 

This past season as a sophomore, Moody III played primarily on special teams and preserved his redshirt. 

He transferred to North Texas from North Alabama, where he spent his first two seasons. As a true freshman in 2023, Moody IIII played in 11 games and had 40 carries for 106 yards and one rushing touchdown and had 10 receptions for 77 yards.

Moody III improved some from year one to year two as he played in 10 games, started in two, and had 61 carries for 249 yards and five receptions for 12 yards.

Moody III is the 46th overall player out of the transfer portal for Morris and Co., the fifth running back out of the portal and the 17th player from North Texas.
