STILLWATER – It was a rough night in the old barn for Oklahoma State as they trailed the Baylor Bears from start to finish for a 94-79 loss at home.

With the loss, the Cowboys dropped to 13-4 overall on the season and 1-3 in Big 12 play.

Parsa Fallah and Anthony Roy led the Pokes in scoring, as Fallah had 18 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the floor with nine rebounds. As for Roy, he finished with 17 points on 6-of-15 shooting from the floor, 5-of-12 from 3-point range with four rebounds and four assists.

Vyctorius Miller finished with 14 points on 50% shooting from the floor before fouling out late in the second half, while Kanye Clary finished with 13 points, six rebounds and four assists.

As a team, the Cowboys shot 46% from the floor, 40% from 3-point range and just 58% from the free throw line on 7-of-12 shooting.

They were outrebounded 34-31, outscored the Bears in the paint 40-34 and forced 12 turnovers to 10, scoring 16 points to just 12 on the turnovers.

The Bears, on the other hand, shot a blistering 59% from the floor, 52% from 3-pooint range on 13-of-15 shooting and were 11-of-14 from the free throw line.

The Cowboys kept it relatively close for about 11 minutes of the first half, with it being a five-point deficit, 27-22. That’s when the Bears went on an 25-7 run, making it a quick 23-point deficit, 50-27. The Pokes would, however, go on an 18-7 run over a five-minute period early in the second half, cutting their deficit down to just 11 with 11:56 left to go in the game, 72-61. Then down to 10 points, 80-70, with just under eight left to play in the game.

But the Bears would pull away, while the Cowboys went cold from both the floor and free throw line, with a more than four-minute scoring drought.

The Cowboys are back in action this coming Saturday as they play host to Kansas State.
