STILLWATER – Offers continue to pour out of the West End Zone in Stillwater as Eric Morris and Co. have offered two more prospects in the 2027 class.
Late Thursday night, Lewisville (TX) HS athlete Derrick Martin announced an offer from the Pokes.
Martin checks in at 5-9, 180 pounds, and helped the Farmers to an 8-3 overall record, 5-2 in District play with a well-rounded junior season. He recorded 50 carries for 339 yards and three touchdowns and 36 receptions for 383 yards and four touchdowns.
According to his social media, Martin also played on a torn UCL. So, he’s a baller who powers through pain and discomfort.
He currently holds more than 20 offers, which include Oklahoma State, Arizona, Arkansas, Auburn, Houston, Kansas State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, TCU, Vanderbilt and SMU among.
An offer that went out this morning from OSU’s run game coordinator and running backs coach, Patrick Cobbs, to Choctaw athlete, Israel Hammons.
Hammons checks in at 6-3, 225 pounds and helped the Yellowjackets to a 9-5 overall record and 5-2 in District play in 2025. On3 lists Hammons as an edge rusher and that he currently holds two offers, one from Texas Tech and one from North Texas, the current staff in Stillwater.
But Hammons Twitter account has multiple offers, which includes Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Baylor, Kansas State, Missouri State, North Texas, Ole Miss and Texas Tech.
