Lane Taylor Signs One-Year Contract With Houston
STILLWATER – Former Oklahoma State offensive lineman Lane Taylor has signed a one-year contract with the Houston Texans, according to a report from NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
With the move, Taylor is being reunited with his former offensive line coach with the Packers, James Campen.
Taylor, who’s coming off two consecutive season-ending injuries with Green Bay, a torn bicep in 2019 and a torn ACL in 2020, is entering his ninth season in the league. He went undrafted in the 2013 NFL Draft, but spent the next eight seasons as a mainstay on the Packers line.
During his time at Oklahoma State, Taylor earned unanimous First-Team All-Big 12 status during the 2012 season and was an honorable mention in 2011.
After redshirting the 2008 season, Taylor missed the first two games of the 2009 season, but then started nearly every game for the remainder of his career, including not allowing a sack during the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
