Oklahoma State just earned their worst loss of the season Tuesday night as they fell to No. 80 in the NET Arizona State, 85-76, on the road in Tempe.

The loss drops them to 16-8 overall on the season and 4-7 in Big 12 play.

The Cowboys shot 43% from the floor, 38% from 3-point range and 74% from the free throw line on 20-of-27 shooting. Turnovers were an issue for OSU as they had 17 for 26 points on the other end for the Sun Devils, while forcing just 11 ASU turnovers for 13 points,

The discrepancy came in rebounding, however, as the Pokes were outrebounded 45-34, including a 19-10 clip on the offensive lead, leading to 24 second chance points for ASU. That’s compared to just four second chance points for the Pokes.

The Cowboys were also scored 38-26 in the paint and 28-17 off the bench.

Both Anthony Roy and Vyctorius Miller fouled out, Roy with 16 points and Miller with 10. Roy shot 4-of-13 from the floor, 2-of-10 form 3-point range and 6-of-9 from the free throw line. Miller was 3-of-7 from the floor and 1-of-4 from 3-point range. He was also 3-of-3 from the charity stripe.

Parsa Fallah also finished with 16 points and six rebounds, while Kayne Clary had 11 points and five rebounds and five assists.

The Cowboys are back in action this coming Saturday as they’ll place host to TCU.
