Charles Talks of Badly Wanting to Be at Oklahoma State, All Agree It's Bonding Time

The native of Tempe, Ariz, says he fell in love with Stillwater and was hoping to be a part of the new Oklahoma State football team.

STILLWATER – Malik Charles wanted to stay. The defensive lineman with nose tackle strength and linebacker athleticism knew that he wanted his last season of eligibility to happen in Stillwater. Oklahoma State is his fourth school but leaving after last season was never an option on his mind. 

“I knew that I was gonna stay regardless,” Charles said, adding that he and his family made a two-year commitment with the decision.
