STILLWATER – Oklahoma State senior forward Parsa Fallah’s season is officially done. Fallah took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce he tore the ACL in his left knee against West Virginia.

Fallah went for a breakaway dunk to seal the game against West Virginia, coming down with full weight on his left leg, which buckled under him.

While he wasn’t one of the players scheduled to meet with the media after Tuesday night’s 91-84 win over the Mountaineers, Fallah entered the press conference with head coach Steve Lutz.

“First of all, I’m really, really grateful for this year that I had here,” Fallah said. “Oklahoma State was the best year I had in my college career and the fans, I just hope they know how much I really care about them and it was a great experience. So, I wanted to say thank you to every one of y’all. Also, I wanted to talk about coach [Steve] Lutz here. This man, I believe he’s one of the best coaches in the country; I’ve never seen a man work as hard as him. I think this is your guy and he will take you guys far. I really mean every word I’m saying, he changed my life and I’m really grateful for him. He made me a better man, a better person and a better player.

“I would just say thank you God, thank you Jesus Christ, good or bad, I always try to be grateful and appreciate God for what he gave me.”

Fallah finished the season averaging nearly 15 points and six rebounds per game, the best season of his college career.
