I talk to Randy at the gym whenever I see him there, which isn't as regularly since he took the Claremore job. I'll have to ask him if he's been following Howell, but I would assume he does. 4-sport stars are very rare in this day and age, so are 2-sport athletes, let alone three.

STILLWATER – Here’s a record that all Oklahoma State fans can appreciate. You remember Randy Rutherford, the standout scorer for Eddie Sutton’s Cowboys. Rutherford teamed up with Bryant Reeves and blistered the nets from outside, while Reeves owned the paint. In high school at Broken Bow, Rutherford scored a school record 2,153 points, led Class 4A in scoring and posted a 49-point game for the Savages. Meet Greydon Howell.
