STILLWATER – Oklahoma State’s Micah Gray received honorable mention All-America honors this week with the announcement of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-America squad.

A native of Oklahoma City, Gray led the Cowgirls to a 24-10 mark and the second round of the NCAA Tournament. In 34 games, she averaged a team-best 13.6 points per game and broke the school's single-season made 3-pointers mark for the second year in a row.

She connected on 93 treys on the year, which ranks 17th nationally. The senior guard led the Big 12 with her 2.74 made 3-pointers per game and ranked third among league players in 3-point field-goal percentage (.348).

Gray finished her career with 1,753 points and her 301 made 3-pointers rank seventh among active career leaders.

A third-team All-Big 12 pick, Gray was named to the Big 12 Starting Five on Feb. 2 as well. Her selection marks the second consecutive year OSU has had a player receive honorable mention honors with Stailee Heard doing so a year ago.

A committee composed of WBCA member head coaches in each respective division selects the 10-member Coaches’ All-America team from the finalists in that division. Finalists not selected to the team receive honorable mention recognition.
