STILLWATER – Steve Lutz and Co. are looking to add some experienced guard play to the roster for 2026-25 season. BJ Davis, who spent the past three seasons at San Diego State, is set to visit Oklahoma State next week.

Davis checks in at 6-2, 180 pounds and has played in 76 games over the past three seasons for the Aztecs, starting in 38 of them. This past season was his best statistically as he averaged nearly 11 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.

He shot 43% from the floor, 37% from 3-point range and 85% from the free throw line. He also had 72 assists to 31 turnovers and 35 steal

His sophomore and junior seasons were pretty similar, with the exception being 13 more steals as a sophomore with 48 and 34 fewer assists at 38. He averaged nine points and three rebounds per game on 42% shooting from the floor, 36% from 3-point range and 78% from the free throw line. He also finished that season with 29 turnovers.

Davis would be a replacement for the numbers lost by Jaylen Curry entering the transfer portal.

Originally out of Modesto, California, Davis graduated HS in 2023 as a four-star prospect who was rated as the No. 124 overall prospect in the class.
