Oklahoma State Lands Lindenwood (MO) Transfer Ellie Brueggemann

STILLWATER – Jacie Hoyt and Co. have landed a second commitment out of transfer portal as Lindenwood guard Ellie Brueggemann has committed to Oklahoma State.

She chose the Cowgirls over transfer offers from Indiana, Iowa and Nebraska.

Brueggemann is a 5-11 guard out Owasso, Oklahoma, who is set to enter her senior season. This past season as a junior, she started 33 of 33 games she played in and averaged 14 points per game on 49% shooting from the floor, 44% from 3-point range and 79% from the free throw line. She also had 2.6 rebounds per game. On the season, she had 102 assists, 3.1 per game, with 64 turnovers and 33 steals.

Those numbers are up from the 12 points per game on 41% shooting from the floor, 34% from 3-point range her junior season. She shot an impressive 90% from the free throw line on 62-of-69 from the charity stripe. She also had 74 assists to 57 turnovers with 40 steals.

She played her high school ball at Lincoln Christian in Tulsa. 

Brueggemann joins D2 Player of the Year out of Fort Hays State, Talexa Weeter.
