STILLWATER – Oklahoma State lined it up between the lines of Boone Pickens Stadium on Saturday afternoon for the first spring game of the Eric Morris era.
Following the event, Morris met with the media in the weight room to discuss how he felt his team played and how he felt the reception was for the fans’ first glimpse at the team.
“I thought it was good,” Eric Morris said. “Especially in today’s era of college football, I don’t think spring games are a coaches’ favorite right now. I think you’re always trying to build depth. Obviously, it’s something really important, but at the same time, after 14 practices, we’ve had some guys separate themselves that we know are gonna be really good players for us. You want to get out there and be clean and efficient and put a show on.”
