STILLWATER – Jacie Hoyt and Co. have landed another commitment out of the transfer portal, this time in former Missouri State and Kansas guard, Zoe Canfield.

Canfield is a 5-11 guard originally out of Washburn Rural High and Topeka, KS.

Damon Young - KU Athletics
Canfield at KU as a freshman.

She played in 15 games during his freshman season at KU, starting in one and averaged nearly seven minutes per game. In those games, she averaged nearly two points per game on 44% shooting from the floor on 8-of-18 shooting and 50% from 3-point range on 8-of-16 shooting. Definitely a 3-point specialist.

This past season as a sophomore with MSU, Canfield played in 10 games for an average of 9.5 minutes per game. In those games, she averaged just under one point per game on 17% shooting from the floor and 19% from 3-point range. It was 3-of-18 shooting from the floor and 3-of-16 from 3-point range.

Canfield was a three-time All-State selection in basketball and was a state champion in both basketball and volleyball, both coming in 2022. She joins Audi Crooks, Liv McGill, Talexa Weeter, Ellie Brueggemann, LA Sneed and Nene Ndiaye out of the transfer portal.
