ILLWATER – Oklahoma State walked TCU off 7-6 Friday night on the bat of Kollin Ritchie blasted three home runs.

With the win, the Pokes are now 29-17 overall on the season and 12-10 in Big 12 play.

Ritchie joined some elite company against the Horned Frogs as he became just the fifth Cowboy in program history to hit three or more home runs in a game multiple times in a career, joining Roy York, Adam Carr, Trevor Boone and Nolan Schubart.

He finished the game going 4-for-4 with the three home runs and a double, and now has 25 home runs on the season, the most by a Cowboy hitter since Lamont Matthews hit 30 back in 1999.

Pitcher Hudson Barrett earned the win as he came on in relief going 1 2/3 innings and recorded four strikeouts.

Ethan Lund got the start on the mound as he went 4 2/3 innings with 10 strikeouts, giving him 100 strikeouts on the season, making him the 20th Cowboy in program history to reach the century mark.

Unfortunately, Lund gave up five runs across the fourth and fifth innings with the Pokes trailing 5-3. A sixth run was surrendered before the end of the 5th inning to make it 6-3.

The Cowboys then scored four unanswered runs on a Danny Wallace home run in the bottom of the fifth, Ritchie scored from first following an Aidan Meola single and a throwing error on TCU. Then Ritchie hit his second and third homers of the game in the seventh and bottom of the ninth.
