Big 12 Football Coaches in Lockstep for 24-Team Playoff Expansion

The football coaches of the Big 12, along with commissioner Brett Yormark, are in favor of a 24-team playoff format.

STILLWATER – On day three of the Big 12 Conference spring meetings, it appears the league’s coaches are in lockstep about the future of college football: a 24-team playoff format.

We voted, it was unanimous,” West Virginia head coach Rich Rodriguez said. “Every coach voted for a 24-team playoff.” Rodriguez is the chair of the Big 12 coaches committee.
