STILLWATER – Jacie Hoyt and her staff have put together one of the most exciting rosters in women’s college basketball and we’ve got our first look at the opponents on their Big 12 schedule.

The Cowgirls will face Colorado, Iowa State and Kansas both home and away, Arizona, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Kansas State, TCU and West Virginia in Stillwater only and Baylor, BYU, UCF Houston, Texas Tech and Utah on the road.

The Pokes are coming off an impressive 2025-26 season in which they went 24-10 overall on the year and 12-6 in Big 12 play. They were also an impressive 16-1 at home.

This year’s team is nearly completely different as Hoyt and Co. brought in a top-3 recruiting class, which was headlined by Iowa State transfer Audi Crooks and Florida transfer Liv McGill, both considered five stars and top three players out of the portal.

There will also be three players facing their former teams as Audi Crooks will face the Cyclones in Stillwater and up in Ames, which will most assuredly be a hostile environment. LA Sneed will get to face Utah in Salt Lake City and Yuting Deng will face Baylor down in Waco.

We’ll find out here over the next few months if the Cowgirls will have a tougher non-conference schedule as those games are announced.
