Eric Morris Set to Launch New Tradition with Oklahoma State Football Kickoff Luncheon
STILLWATER – I’ve had so many fans ask me about “Extreme Camp.” That is the event that former Oklahoma State head football coach Mike Gundy and then director of recruiting and camps Johnny Barr came up with. Three days of fans being given exclusive and virtually unblocked access to meeting rooms, practices, meals, and just about anything else at the start of fall camp. The event had been going for 15-years with lots of success. The Extreme Camp is gone, but two other events have sprung up in its’ place.
Eric Morris and his staff will host “An Elite Orange Experience” prior to the start of fall camp. It will be a two-day event with be July 31-Aug. 1 and take place at a casino (not sure which one). Details for this event are available through both the football office and the athletic department.
Then the top donors will also be invited to an Oklahoma State Football Kickoff Luncheon on Thursday, Aug. 27 inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. Eric Morris will be interviewed by a special national media guest and Morris and his staff will preview the season.
Individual tickets and special prices for full tables will be available through the athletic department. For $10,000 fans can sit with Morris at his table.
