STILLWATER – Eric Morris and Co. have added another commitment in the 2027 class as Euless (TX) Trinity safety Chayce Davis. He has played safety, but has the athletic skills and will likely move to cornerback in college.

Davis, who checks in at 6-0, 173 pounds, chose the Pokes over offers from Arizona, Arkansas State, Baylor, Iowa State, Louisiana Tech, New Mexico and North Texas among others.

Trinity went 8-3 overall this past season, 6-2 in District play and earned First Team All-District honors following his junior season.

Davis also ran track and field for Trinity this past spring, where he won the Texas 6A Region II 300-meter hurdles with a time of 36.7 seconds, while placing third at regionals in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 13.70 seconds. He also posted a jump of 6-6 in the high jump. Check out the 200-meter finals below.

Euless Trinity does not publicize stats, but Davis had plenty and made several game changing plays in coverage last season for the Trojans.

Davis is now the ninth commitment in the ’27 class for Morris and Co. and the second safety/defensive player as he joins Broken Arrow’s Bryson Brown.
