Oklahoma State Schedules Home Game Against Saint Mary's in December
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has scheduled a home game against Saint Mary’s this upcoming season on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2026.
This marks the first new non-conference game announced for the upcoming season as the Pokes are also scheduled to face OU, Northwestern, and Texas A&M as return games to playing this past season.
The complete 14-game non-conference schedule will be announced soon, according to OSU.
This marks the first match up between the two programs in 30 years, with the last game coming back in 1996-97, with the Pokes winning 71-70. While it was 37 less points, the Pokes won the first match up 34-33 back in 1946, which was coached by Henry Iba.
The Gaels are coming off a 27-6 overall record in 2025-26, including a 16-2 overall record and a fifth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance. They were led by Australian guard Joshua Dent, who averaged 13 points and nearly six assists per game. Dent returned for this season.
They’re also led by head coach Mickey McConnell, who took over for long-time head coach Randy Bennett. McConnell played under Bennett from 2007-11. He joined the staff in 2019-20, with the Gaels combining for a 175-54 record.
