Ortiz should think about coming back to improve his draft stock. Not gonna get much as a round 18 guy. Being hurt most of the season obviously was a major reason.

STILLWATER – The 2026 MLB Draft is underway, which means another crop of Oklahoma State baseball players and signees who are headed to the professional ranks.
Junior outfielder Alex Conover was the first Cowboy taken in the fourth round with the 134th overall pick. He was listed as No. 204 on the top 250 prospects list.
Much to the surprise of everyone around Stillwater, nether Kollin Ritchie nor pitcher Hudson Barrett were taken in the first four rounds.
The next OSU player taken off the board was shortstop commit, Dylan Bowen, out of Hanover Central HS in Cedar Lake, IN. Bowen was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the fifth round with the 154th overall pick.
