STILLWATER – Due to an NCAA rule change, Oklahoma State is set to play three preseason exhibition games, which will be highlighted by a Homecoming match-up against Tulsa.

The Cowboys are set to host Tulsa for a 2:30 p.m. CT exhibition ahead of the start of Walk Around on October 23, followed by a road trip up to Madison, WI for a showdown with the Wisconsin Badgers on Tuesday, Oct. 27, which will be the premier preseason exhibition.

The Pokes will host the New Mexico Lobos on Sunday, Oct. 11.

This will mark the first time the Pokes will host the Lobos in Stillwater, and the first time since 2011. The Pokes and Badgers have played just once, a holiday tournament in Dayton, OH back in 1983. The Cowboys and Golden Hurricane have played each other just about every other year, whether it’s in Tulsa or Stillwater.

The Cowboys are coming off a 20-15 overall record, 6-12 in Big 12 play and a berth into the second round of the NIT. While the games have yet to be played, Steve Lutz and Co. brought in the No. 1 transfer class in the Big 12, as well as signed a top-10 high school signing class.
