STILLWATER – The search for the first 2028 commit for Oklahoma State and Steve Lutz is in full swing as an offer was extended to in-state four-star standout, Parker McDaniel.
McDaniel checks in at 6-3, 170 pounds and is entering his junior season with South Central Prep in Bixby, OK, where he transferred to from Lincoln Christian in Tulsa.
He also plays his AAU ball with Southern Assault. Across 17 games this summer for Southern Assault, which is a team on the 3SSB Adidas circuit, McDaniel averaged nearly 20 points, four rebounds and two assists per game, while shooting nearly 50% from 3-point range.
Up to this point in his recruiting process, McDaniel has received close to 20 offers, including Cal, Cincinnati, Iowa, Kansas, LSU, Mississippi State, Nebraska, OU, Utah and West Virginia among others.
According to the composite rankings by Rivals, McDaniel is listed as the No. 79 overall prospect in the 2028 class, the No. 26 overall shooting guard and the No. 3 prospect out of Oklahoma.
