Jacie Hoyt and Co. Add Nebraska Transfer Guard Callin Hake
STILLWATER – Jacie Hoyt and Co. have added another experienced player out of the transfer portal as former Nebraska guard Callin Hake (pronounced CAL-lin Hay-ck) has committed to Oklahoma State.
"With the state of our roster being as solid as it was, it was important to make sure that if we were going to add anyone, they had elite character and a team-first mentality. Callin is all that and more!" Hoyt said. "She's a great fit for what we're building within our program. She's exactly the kind of player we're looking for in our system because of her ability to make threes and stretch the floor. We are most excited about her defensive presence and the energy she'll bring to our team."
Hake spent the past four seasons with the Cornhuskers, where she averaged 6.0 points and just over two rebounds per game across 131 career games. This past season, Hake was named a team captain and averaged just over seven points and two rebounds per game, as well as nearly four assists per game, 116 on the season.
Hake also helped the Cornhuskers to the NCAA tournament the past three seasons.
