TULSA, OK – Oklahoma State head coach Eric Morris met with the media following the Cowboys’ 24-10 loss to Tulsa in the season opener. This game marked the 21st straight loss to an FBS opponent, which dates back to OSU’s 45-10 win over Tulsa in 2024.
“Hats off to Tulsa, we got out-coached today, we got out-played, we got out-physical-ed, we got out-schemed on so many different levels,” said Eric Morris. “They just beat us and we never were able to capture any kind of momentum in this game.”
The Cowboys combined for 368 yards of total offense, 241 yards through the air and 127 yards on the ground, while going 5-for-16 on 3rd downs and 2-for-6 on 4th downs. They averaged 4.3 yards per play, 3.4 yards per rush and 8.3 yards per completion.
