Big 12 Releases First Availability Report for Oklahoma State at West Virginia

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is set to hit the road to start Big 12 play this weekend against West Virginia. While the program released an updated depth chart with quotes from head coach Eric Morris, the Big 12 has announced the first injury report of the season for the Pokes and Mountaineers.

As you can see, offensive linemen Joseph Hanson and Braydon Nelson and defensive tackle Iman Oates are all listed as questionable, while receiver Chris Barnes, defensive tackle Braylon Rigsby and offensive lineman Johnny Dickson III are all listed as probable.

The return of Barnes gives Drew Mestemaker and Co. another weapon to go along with the already explosive receiver corps. Barnes left the Oregon game with an apparent shoulder injury but has seven catches for 87 yards in the first two games of the season. 

Hanson and Oates also sustained injuries against the Ducks, with Morris saying on Tuesday Hanson had returned to practice this week. Nelson, who has yet to play a snap for the Pokes as he sustained an injury in fall camp, has also returned to practice and will be a good get back for Morris and Co.

On the West Virginia side of the ball, nickle/safety Emory Snyder, RB Andre Devine and DL Darius Wiley are all out, while RB Chris Talley is questionable. 

It looks like the Mountaineers have five players who are probable with TE Cam Ball, WR Prince Strachan, RB Martavious Boswell, OL Nick Krahn and former OSU WR Jaden Bray.
