I was worried about the DL too, but the coaching staff seems to have done a great job of assembling a number of guys who can give solid minutes without a significant drop in production. No stars in this group but a bunch of dudes who have bought into a system where rotating bodies keeps them all fresh and motivated. Kudos to the players for accepting their roles in this day and age of me before team and the staff for identifying the right kids.

STILLWATER – I remember asking Oklahoma State defensive coordinator Skyler Cassity in fall camp if he was worried about the defensive line, in particular his nose and defensive tackles. Cassity said he thought they were fine there. He knew that I had questioned often the interior defensive line. He was steadfast in saying he felt they were fine. Now, four games into the season and with four solid defensive performances, Cassity is looking good with his preseason optimism.
