STILLWATER – Oklahoma State Cowgirl basketball is set to open the 2026-27 season ranked No. 22 in the AP Top 25 Poll. This marks the first time since 2014-15 and 2015-16 the Pokes have been ranked in back-to-back preseason polls.
This comes a week after the Pokes checked in at No. 21 in ESPN’s preseason poll and after they were picked to win the conference for the first time in program history.
Audi Crooks, who was tabbed preseason Big 12 Player of the Year, and Liv McGill, who was tabbed Big 12 Newcomer of the Year, will both be in Kansas City this week for Big 12 Media Day with head coach Jacie Hoyt.
The Cowgirl start the season Monday, November 2 against Southern at 5 p.m. CT in Stillwater.
