STILLWATER – Oklahoma State’s homecoming helmet was revealed Thursday night and it’s going to be a new look for the Pokes. It’s oversized Pete and it’s glorious.
The Cowboys are going with a classic look with the orange jerseys, white pants and white cleats. I wasn’t too sure about the helmet at first glance, strictly because I’m used to Patriot Pete or the old outline chrome Pete helmets.
But the more I look at this oversized Pete graphic, the more I’m falling in love. It gives a Pokes a different look than they’ve had in the past. Sure, they’ve worn the small Pete logo, but this just pops.
The Pokes and Buffs have a night kick on Saturday, 6 p.m. CT, with the game televised on FS1. The Cowboys have a chance to bounce back from the 35-32 loss to then-ranked No. 20 Houston, while the Buffs will be looking to get their first win in conference play.
