STILLWATER – The first commitment for Oklahoma State out of the NCAA Transfer Portal is a native of Georgia that has played in Oklahoma before. Kobe (KT) Hylton is coming from UTEP where he earned some honors as All-Conference USA with the Miners. Last season the 6-2, 205-pound Hylton finished with 54 tackles with two fumbles caused and a fumble recovered.

His experience playing in Oklahoma was for NEO A&M and current Oklahoma State recruiting analysts Zach Allen (then head coach at NEO) and Justin Gordan.
“This feels like home, home away from home,” Hylton said as he watched practice on his visit. “This team looks like they are serious. They’ve won a lot of games here and Coach Gundy is one of the best coaches in college football.”
“I can tell you from meeting with him, KT is a serious football player,” Gundy said of Hylton. “He didn’t ask about photo sessions, NIL, all he wanted to talk was football. I think he is a guy that just wants to play football at a high level.”
Hylton is from South Gwinnett High School in Georgia and has played at Long Island (no season), NEO A&M where he was an All-Conference player, and then UTEP had 91 tackles with four fumbles caused and a fumble recovered in his career playing home games in the Sun Bowl on the border of the USA and Mexico.
Hylton has played against some very good competition. This season he had nine tackles, a fumble forced and a quarterback hurry against Arizona, five tackles and a fumble forced against LIberty, and last season he had eight tackles and a forced fumble in Norman against Oklahoma.
