Oklahoma State Wins Most Lopsided All-sports Bedlam Series Ever
STILLWATER – For the ninth time in the last 11 years, Oklahoma State beat Oklahoma in the all-sports Phillips 66 Bedlam Series. The final score of 21-9 marked the largest margin of victory for either school in Bedlam Series history.
OSU jumped out to a 6-1 advantage in the fall, headlined by a 27-24 football victory over the Sooners in Boone Pickens Stadium. The two schools split their eight winter sports meetings, but OSU held an 11-4 advantage over OU in the spring, highlighted by a series win over the No. 2-ranked Sooner softball team in Norman, plus a series win over OU in baseball. The Bedlam rivals met in the Big 12 Baseball Championship game, with OSU a 9-3 winner.
Before this year, the most lopsided all-sports Bedlam Series score came in 2020-21, when OSU was a 23-12 winner over the Sooners.
The Bedlam Series is calculated by straight wins and losses in head-to-head competition. In sports where there is no head-to-head matchup, the Big 12 Championship final standings are used.
While Oklahoma State and Oklahoma have been in competition for more than 100 years, the all-sports Bedlam Series did not come into existence until the 1999-2000 academic year.
