STILLWATER – The recent weekend’s official visitors for Oklahoma State included three defensive players in talented Montgomery Catholic Prep safety Jo’Tavion Pierce, Jones Community College safety Chase Pinkston, and committed linebacker Carl’Veon Young from instate power Midwest City Carl Albert. The Cowboys were back at it on Monday morning offering Fort Worth (North Crowley), Texas cornerback Draden Fullbright.

Fullbright and his teammates has North Crowley thinking state championship as they are 12-0/6-0 on the season and last Friday night they crushed Odessa Permian 72-14 to move into a Class 6A-I Regional Semifinal with Coppell on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m.

Fullbright was committed to the University of Tulsa, but he de-committed from the Hurricane on Sunday, likely after the head coach Kevin Wilson was fired.

On Monday, Oklahoma State offered early and later in the day Houston added their name to the list. The offers for Fullbright include Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Florida State, USC, Boston College, Memphis, and Georgia Southern among others.

Fullbright is 6-0, 175 pounds and is a physical player for the corner position. Of course, Fullbright has been a little bit of everything in his prep career that has taken him from Terrell, Texas as a freshman to Wayne Co., Georgia and back to Texas to North Crowley.

As a freshman in Terrell, he was named District 7-4A Offensive Newcomer of the Year playing running back and rushing 66 times for 492-yards and five touchdowns. He moved to Wayne Co., Georgia and helped them to the state quarterfinals in Class 3-AAAA. He played both corner and running back with 36 tackles, six passes defended, and four interceptions on defense. His stats weren’t readily available for this season, but he has started every game and is listed as one of the top 100-area players by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and by Texas Football Magazine. He is a track athlete as well that specializes in the 200 meters.

According to TITAN Sports, which measures speed on the field with devices worn by players, he has the sixth fatest speed in Texas High School Football this season at

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Assuming Nardo is fired. Are they telling recruits changes are coming? How does that work recruiting defensive players when the coach probably won't see next season?
