STILLWATER – If you’re a hockey fan you’ve seen it thousands of times. High sticking, tripping, cross checking, or more and it is a trip to the penalty box. No penalty box in football, only ejections and the most common these days is for targeting. 

Football targeting is a penalty for forcible contact to the head or neck area of an opponent, especially a defenseless one, or for using the crown of the helmet to hit another player.
