STILLWATER – Let’s be honest. The first thing that Oklahoma State football fans wanted to see was quarterback Drew Mestemaker, the NCAA Division I passing leader by yardage last season with 4,379-yards and 34 touchdowns. The guy that was offered $3.5 million to make his way from Denton to Stillwater. Fans wanted to see that Oklahoma State had a quarterback that could kick the offense into gear.
