STILLWATER – Oklahoma State notched its sixth win in a row as the Pokes topped Tulsa 5-0 on Tuesday night thanks to a monster night from the plate from Madison Hoffman.

With the win, the Cowgirls moved to 35-13 overall on the season.

Redshirt freshman Madison Hoffman had one of best performances from the plate of her collegiate career as she went 2-for-3 with a home run, a triple and four RBIs. She launched a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning, scoring Rosie Davie and Tia Warsop.

Hoffman hit her triple in the bottom of the sixth to score Warsop from second, then she scored on the next play as Aubrey Jones hit a single through the right side of the infield. Jones also went 2-for-3 from the plate.

Pitcher Ruby Meylan got the start and made it a complete game as she went 7.0 innings, giving up just one hit with four walks and nine strikeouts. She’s now 24-6 overall on the season.

The Cowgirls are back in action this weekend as they play host to a salty Kansas team for the final Big 12 series of the regular season.
