STILLWATER – Oklahoma State now has its third commitment in the 2027 class as American Leadership Academy tight end Talan Scott committed to the Pokes.
He commits to the Pokes over offers from Auburn, Cal, Colorado, Duke, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, Stanford, Utah and Wisconsin among others.
Scott, who checks in at 6-4, 230 pounds, was on campus this weekend on an official visit. Scott is out of Queen Creek, AZ, where he had a solid junior season for American Leadership Academy in 2025, recording 45 catches for 468 yards and eight touchdowns.
Eric Morris and TE coach Drew Svoboda got in on Scott back in early March and comes after several official visits to other schools, like Indiana. He also has official visits scheduled to SMU, Cal, Kansas, Colorado and Auburn in that order. It will be interesting to see if those visits still happen.
Scott joins Iowa Colony quarterback Carson White, Pryor wide receiver Cooper Hooker and Broken Arrow DB Bryson Brown as the four commitments in the class.
