STILLWATER – Josh Holliday and Co. have added another talented in-state prospect in the upcoming 2027 class in Enid (OK) HS outfielder, Keon Young.
Young announced his commitment via social media on Saturday.
Young is a 6-2, 190-pound right-hander and is coming off a great junior season where he hit .370 with 23 RBIs. He is also a standout in football for the Plainsmen. He is set to start this fall and finish his high school baseball career in the spring.
According to Prep Baseball Report, he’s also a pretty decent prep pitcher as well, with his fastball maxing out at just over 92 MPH, his changeup between 77-79 MPH and his slider between 80-83 MPH.
He was also clocked at running a 30-yard dash at 3.57 seconds.
