It’s a rather light health report for No. 18 Oklahoma State as just three players are listed as out for the road game against No. 20 Houston:
- S Mose Phillips III
- WR Dayvon Standard
- DT Landon Dean
Morris announced during his weekly radio show Phillips wouldn’t be available for this game as he sustained a shoulder injury against UCF this past week. He had been listed as doubtful most of the week and isn’t expected to miss too much time.
North Texas transfer senior safety Evan Jackson will most likely fill the spot. He’s recorded four total tackles and had the scoop and score fumble recovery last week against UCF.
Morris announced earlier in the week freshman receiver Dayvon Standard was back and practicing and there was a good chance he could see the field this weekend against the Cougars. Standard is a 6-4 receiver out of Desert Eagle HS in Goodyear, AZ and arrived in Stillwater over the summer. That should be more than enough to tell you what Morris and Co. think of Standard.
