Oklahoma State scored more points against Kansas State than it ever had before on Saturday as the Cowboys won 66-28 up in Manhattan, KS.
With the win, the Cowboys got bowl eligible for the first time since 2023.
Head coach Eric Morris met with the media after the game, and you can watch the press conference in its entirety above.
“Defense, no doubt about it,” Morris said of what stood out to him. “Hats off to our staff. I mean, I think they did a phenomenal job putting together a great game plan coming into it, just knowing you don't have Jaleel Johnson, don't have Tate in here. Next man up. Never heard any complaints about, ‘Oh coach we don't have these guys. What are we gonna do? Can't do this.’ We didn't go back to the drawing board, but they spent a ton of time just to be able to figure out how can we put our guys in the best positions and thought that they did a phenomenal job with that. Our guys responded.
“But I thought the turnovers and us playing complementary football and really being able to capitalize on some of those and get it out of hand by halftime was huge. Obviously, Caleb and Drew had a nice day today and were able to do some stuff offensively. But super proud of the defense.”
