Dunn is Getting More Comfortable as Play Caller and He Loves the Weapons

STILLWATER – I kind of sat in the back of the room but as Oklahoma State offensive coordinator and wide receiver coach Kasey Dunn talked about receiver drills and then some good X-and-O material featuring option routes and one of his favorites you didn’t see as much as a droopy eye in the offensive meeting room. Dunn is a good presenter and the high school coaches in the room were looking for something to take back to their offense that would be a difference maker.

Thanks RA good stuff. I am excited about Cowboy Football. With all the warranted Presley talk, one forgets about JPR, Bray and the twins...I too will miss Tylan and Stoner but man o man...we do have some talent!!!

RA, I will be much more excited when you can report our OLT and Center newbies are working out better than even hoped! OL issues (multiple) pretty much killed our offense last year vs OU and UT.

Out of all the great/fun pieces OSU returns this season, the defense, the receivers, the running backs, seeing how Spencer progresses, I think I'm most excited to see how the offensive line shapes up.

There's quite a few talented guys in that receiver room who will have a chance to prove themselves this season. I'm excited to see what Langston Anderson can do if he stays healthy, the Green twins, I think JPR could be a star during his time here. I also think Tay Martin could have a solid year, same with Braydon Johnson. Lots of talent, lots of opportunity to prove they've got what it takes.

This old Cowboy is just about out of "hope something good happens".... I've heard it for too many seasons.

all of the heavenly stars must align for OSU to have an exceptional season... and frankly, we're tossing around so many "ifs" that I'm having a hard time concluding that this season will be "that" season. If the QB has improved, if the OL new guys are better, if we can find a dependable RB, if we have some promising receivers step up.... there is not one area of offense that we don't preface with "if".

I'm interested in seeing these new players and hopeful that they can be all-conference contenders, and I think we can win 8-9 games if the ball bounces in our favor....

I expect more than that from our program. We should be at he level of being disappointed in a 10 win season.

Hey he was in the same staff room for many years with Monken and Yurcich so here is hoping that rubbed off on him.
