STILLWATER – This is one of the craziest series that Oklahoma State plays in the Big 12 and the reason is it is so close and more times than not, the games tend to be close as well. Texas Tech leads the series 23-22-3. Being the home team has mattered as Texas Tech leads in Lubbock 13-7-2 while the Cowboys lead in Stillwater 13-8. Oklahoma State won last season 50-44 in a game that the Cowboys controlled but Texas Tech fought back into late.

KState / BU is the other conference came I'm concerned about.

BU needs to have another loss to kill off the tie breakers

I see OSU putting up 30 plus, Tech has given up over 30 points a game defensively according to the stats.

Wouldn't surprise me if K-State wins. But seemingly, if we beat Tech we're in right? Baylor lost to us, so we own the tiebreaker. Is there another possible way we miss out IF we take care of TT?

My perfect Big XII slate outcome Saturday would be WV over Texas, ISU over OU, KSTATE over Baylor, Kansas over TCU and obviously our beating the TT Red Raiders. Least likely to happen probably OU and KU.

I haven't worried about "the Committee" as they likely screw Cincinnati, Michigan State and the OSU Cowboys if there's any way to do so at all. We're not in "their club".

I agree Joe. Tech's only good win to me was Houston right off the bat to start the season. Worst loss is a tie....35 points or so to Texas and 21 points to TCU. OSU should dominate them. RA is likely factoring in our history with these guys, especially in Lubbock. Must say it worries me some too.....but the old adage "defense travels" along with Spencer's seeming consistency, having more experience at receiver and good backups at tailback now makes me feel better about it than Robert perhaps. But TT at night is not ideal atmosphere IF Spencer's hurt, off some and turns it over, etc.

a three-way tie at the top at 10-2 with OSU/OU/BU....... we lose the tie breakers.

Since we would have all beaten each other in head-to-head, then the next tie-breaker is record against the 4th place team (Iowa State), who we lost to.... we'd be out.

that's what I've read

So what would really be good then is both ISU and OSU whack OU and we may meet Baylor for the Championship....with both OU & UT staying home!

My biggest concern is that last year against tech our defense gave up over 600 yards and 40+ points. I hope we learned a lot.

I think that win by OU today gave us a lock on the Conf Champ game if we can beat TT today.

If we win, then both of us will be 10-1 going into Bedlam. One of us will come out with a win, and sole possession of 1st place at 11-1

The loser would have two losses, possibly tied with BU for 2nd, and we win the head-to-head with BU (OU does not)
