Rodriguez Talks Pursuit of His Pro Career and His Cowboy Finish

STILLWATER – “You know he is lucky we took him. There weren’t a lot of schools offering Malcolm when he was a senior,” Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy joked earlier this week outside the West End Zone at Boone Pickens Stadium.

Then Gundy quit grinning and got serious.

“Actually, we were lucky he chose us,” Gundy corrected. “He made us a good football team.

There is absolutely no reason to doubt MRs ability to play NFL ball. He has battled head-to-toe with some of the best college talent and won. That same talent is moving on to the NFL and so can Rodriguez.
He's something special.
His work ethic alone coupled with his wrestling skills gives him a balance and power that guys bigger and stronger guys can't do. Wrestlers are superior pound per pound.
I just hope he goes to a team that I can watch his growth. Like Dallas or Denver.
I know there are rules, but do we really want to follow them now?

One of my favorite players of all time.
One of the most unbelievable sure handled tacklers I've ever seen!

Just wish he was a couple inches taller and could carry 10 to 20 pounds more.....but his speed gives him a chance. He could possibly move back to safety in the NFL.
