Thanks to the arrival of Austin Jarrard, the Cowboys backs position room has added some versatility and may be able to contribute more consistently with more variety.

STILLWATER – It is a unique position and one that carries the name Cowboy. The tradition started with Jeremy Seaton and was passed down to current Dallas Cowboys tight end Blake Jarwin. Those two guys were walk-ons, but they found a niche and have created a tradition. Shortly after it all got started, Jason McEndoo, a former Washington State and NFL offensive tackle was hired by Mike Gundy to coach the Cowboy backs.
