STILLWATER – Oklahoma State released its updated depth chart ahead of the road game against Boise State on Saturday, Sept. 18.

Despite some of the injuries the Cowboys have dealt with over the past few weeks, several positions look the same as they did going into the Tulsa game. Receivers Tay Martin and Braydon Johnson are both listed as starting receivers, despite both missing the Tulsa game due to injuries. Martin attempted to go in the opening drive, but just going get going.

Bryson Green and Blain Green are both listed as ORs on the left side of the field, with Jaden Bray backing up Tay Martin on the right side. Should Martin not be able to go, or play a significant amount against Boise State, Bray proved against Tulsa he has what it takes.

As for the offensive line, Cole Birmingham is listed as the starter at left tackle, with Caleb Etienne being listed as the backup. As for Taylor Miterko, he’s been moved to right tackle behind starter Jake Springfield.

“Well, it’s just based on some of the changes we made with our personnel and trying to give ourselves the best chance,” said head coach Mike Gundy. “Some of it’s based on a matchup of teams we’re playing. Each one of those guys - like Miterko’s still young - in most cases, in year’s past, offensive linemen don’t play until they’re in their third year in your program. They redshirt, they’re a redshirt freshman, they’re a redshirt sophomore, start competing a little bit. Then their bodies change, they get mature. These guys are still really young, so we’re trying to move them around and put them in the best position to give us success based on who we’re playing.”

Redshirt junior Hunter Woodard is listed as the starting right guard, with Preston Wilson listed right behind him, Woodard is still questionable as to whether or not he’ll play against Boise State.

“I would hate to predict; I thought there was a chance Tay Martin was gonna play,” said coach Gundy on whether or not Hunter Woodard would be back. “When you have those types of injuries, it’s really hard for me to predict what’ll happen, its just hard to tell.”
