Oklahoma State Jumps in AP Top 25 For First Time This Season; Climbs in Coaches Poll

STILLWATER – After an impressive win over No. 25 Kansas State in Stillwater Saturday night, Oklahoma State is ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll for the first time this season.

Among the Big 12 teams, there are currently three teams ranked in the AP Top 25.

The Cowboys also check in at No. 18 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Oklahoma State beat No. 25 Kansas State 31-20 on Saturday in Stillwater. The Cowboy offense, led by quarterback Spencer Sanders, posted 481 yards of total offense, 344 yards coming through the air with two touchdowns.

As for the rushing attack, they posted 137 yards on the ground, which was nearly three-times the yardage K-State was allowing going into Saturday. The Pokes were led by Jaylen Warren, who rushed the ball 27 times for 123 yards. He also hauled in four receptions for 81 yards.

As for the defensive side of the ball, the Cowboys held K-State to just 260 yards of total offense, and just 84 yards of total offense in the second half.
