After a phenomenal senior season, Cowboy cornerback Rodarius Williams has announced via Twitter that he will begin to prepare for the 2021 NFL Draft.

Williams recently set a new Oklahoma State record for amount of consecutive games started with 48 straight starts. That streak ended with the Baylor game as Williams sat out with a foot injury. He has been one of the most consistent players in the program for the past four seasons.

He flirted with the idea of leaving for the NFL last year and was advised to stay, which paid off for him in a major way. He has graded out as one of the best defensive backs in college football this year and is now a projected 2nd round pick.

This season, Williams was targeted 21 times, only allowing 10 receptions. On 11 of those interceptions, 6 of them were pass deflections Williams got his hands on. Williams did not allow one touchdown while in coverage this season.

Pro Football Focus has him as the only FBS cornerback to play 220 coverage snaps and allow no more than 10 receptions. His brother Greedy Williams in on the injured reserve list for the Cleveland Browns as he is a three-year NFL veteran.

Williams finishes his Oklahoma State career with 31 passes defended (No. 6 all-time at Oklahoma State) and first in consecutive starts with 48.
