STILLWATER – In less than 24 hours the Cowboys will board their United Airlines charter flight to Austin, in less than 48 hours from the time I write this the Cowboys will kickoff with the Texas Longhorns and about three and half hours after that, around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16 we will know if Oklahoma State is still in excellent shape to earn a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game and remain a top candidate for the College Football Playoff.

I'm warming up to the thought this is a bad matchup for the horns. A now healthy Cowboy offense gets on opportunity to have success against a struggling defense. Our defense will travel, holding UT to less than 400 yds and 27 pts. If TO margin is better than -1, the best defense wins. Pokes win 37-27.

I'm thinking that TOs are going to be the difference in this game.

I don't think the TO factor is in favor of OSU (they collect more, we cough up more)

We'll need to play a clean game to win this one.

Robert I enjoyed your write up and your enthusiasm for the Texas game. It seems that Sanders looks forward to this game, plays well in it even though we haven't been on the winning side the last two years.
In my 70 plus years being a fan I don't think I've ever been more excited for a game than this one. I think that Sanders plays good, the defense holds Texas in check and the cowboys come away with the win.
GO POKES!

TCU - 31
OU - 23

TT - 27
KU - 24

KSU - 25
ISU - 21

BYU - 45
BU - 35

OSU - 24
UT - 20

Both OU and UT come out flat and both lose. I think OSU has to come from behind and win in the fourth quarter with possibly Shane Illingworth spelling Sanders to pull out a win.

UT: 24 pts, 317 total yards allowed, TO margin +1.
Best defense won.

in the Fox Pregame show, 3 of 4 picked Texas.... Only Punt it again Bob Stoops picked OSU (31-27)

His analysis: Texas gave up 300+ yards rushing to OU last week, I don't think they've fixed all of that in just one week, Jalen Warren should have a good day rushing the ball, plus they have Sanders who can run it too.
