The Cowboys are currently 5-0 on the season and are sitting at No. 12 in the country according to the AP Top 25, USA Today Coaches Poll and the FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll. Texas checks in at No. 25 according to the AP Top 25.
The game on Saturday marks the 36 all-time meeting between the two programs, a series which dates back to 1916. Texas currently holds a 26-9 record over the Pokes, but the brighter orange has won seven of the past 11, as well as five of the past six played down in Austin.
