(The profiles were created by Robert Allen)
Jaden Bray, WR, 6-3, 190, Norman, Okla.
Classic Oklahoma State recruiting in the Cowboys picking up Bray. He played football in middle school but not the first two years of high school. He focused on basketball as a freshman and sophomore. Braden came back to football as a junior just in time to team up with now OU quarterback Cade Horton as Bray caught 40 passes for 936-yards and 11 touchdowns. This season the Tigers did not have a quarterback capable of completing many passes downfield and Bray, still ever bit as explosive and with basketball enhanced ball skills, only had 26 catches for 420-yards and four touchdowns. I saw two of his touchdowns and another that did not count in a scrimmage against Stillwater before the regular season. A point guard in hoops, Bray is legit and a smart pick-up by Gundy and the staff. They like those multi-sport athletes. Bray chose the Cowboys over offers from Arkansas (top competition), Arkansas State, Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, New Mexico, North Texas, and SMU. Active in the community with the City of Norman Environmental Services, Oklahoma Regional Food Bank, and Special Olympics. He was born in Fort Sill, Okla. to Tannica Binder and Alphonzo Bray on August 6, 2002. Both his parents are U.S. Army veterans. Bray plans to major in computer engineering at Oklahoma State.
Blaine Green, WR, 6-1, 205, Allen, Texas
Exceptional receiver prospect for one of the top high school football programs in Texas. Oklahoma State offensive coordinator and receivers coach Kasey Dunn made Blaine and his twin brother Bryson, priorities in the Cowboys 2021 recruiting class. The success of Tylan Wallace and the way Oklahoma State handled the injury situation with Tracin Wallace impacted the recruitment of the Greens and as a graduate assistant coach, Tracin Wallace will have the opportunity to coach the Green twins. Good athlete (4.6 forty, 36-inch vertical from Nike Combine), excellent route runner, good blocker, and exceptional ball skills describes Blaine Green. This season for an unbeaten Eagles squad, Blaine has 31 receptions for 678-yards and 10 touchdowns. He is averaging a whopping 21.9-yards per catch. Last season he had 55 receptions for 1,063-yards and as a sophomore had 16 catches for 192-yards. The offer list is impressive as Auburn, Baylor, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota (older brother is a receiver there), Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Mississippi, TCU, Texas Tech, Utah, Virginia Tech, Washington, and Washington State all among the schools that offered. He was born Dec. 30, 2002 in Woodbury, Minn. and is the son of Bryan and Teresa Green. His dad played wide receiver for Minnesota just like his older brother Seth, who is currently playing for the Gophers.
Bryson Green, WR, 6-1, 202, Allen, Texas
The only difference here is the numbers from the 2019 season and part of that was missed time with an injury, but Bryson looks similar on the field, has nearly identical athletic skills, and love for the game and the art of being a football receiver as his twin brother. This season, Bryson has more receptions with 40 than Blaine, but less yards with 503 compared to the 678-yards for his brother. He has nine touchdowns. Don’t get the idea that one is a possession target and the other a vertical threat. Both can go vertical and Bryson has the same 36-inch vertical jump as Blaine. In 2018 broke out with the bigger season as he caught 36 passes for 503-yards and two touchdowns. Last season Bryson grabbed 29 receptions for 463-yards and nine touchdowns. The offers were mostly the same for both brothers with Oklahoma State, Minnesota, Baylor being the most considered. Bryson also had offers from Duke and Michigan State along with all the others. Getting two players like this as twins is a huge bonus for the future of the Oklahoma State offense. He was born Dec. 30, 2002 in Woodbury, Minn. and is the son of Bryan and Teresa Green. His dad played wide receiver for Minnesota just like his older brother Seth, who is currently playing for the Gophers.
John Paul Richardson, WR, 6-1, 185, Fort Bend (Ridge Point), Texas
The son of former Texas A&M and Houston Oilers quarterback Bucky Richardson, John Paul is a baller like his dad and is such a versatile athlete. His Ridge Point team is 6-2 and in the playoff chase in Class 6A Division I as they hammered Katy Seven Lakes 56-20 last week and this Saturday will face Jersey Village in the next round. Richardson has completed 3-of-4 passes this season for 72-yards and two touchdowns. He has rushed for 87-yards and two touchdowns in seven carries. Richardson has 29 receptions for 533-yards and a career high seven touchdown catches. He is averaging 18.4-yards a catch. Richardson in a finalist for the prestigious Houston Touchdown Club Offensive Player of the Year Award. He is a two-sport athlete that also runs the 200-meters and relays for the Panthers. As a junior he rushed for 191-yards and six touchdowns while catching 38 passes for 694-yards and five touchdowns in earning first-team All-District 20-6A-I honors for the second year in a row. He earned the All-District honors the first time as a sophomore with 713-yards of offense and eight touchdowns. He broke into the varsity ranks as a freshman with six carries for 64-yards and a touchdown and 21 receptions for 235-yards and a pair of touchdowns. Oklahoma State was the first Power Five school to offer and when Mike Gundy spoke to Richardson on the phone, he told him that he was about to get a bunch more. Richardson committed to the Cowboys over some 22 other offers including Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Houston, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana Tech, New Mexico, Northwestern, Mississippi, Rice, TCU, Tulane, Tulsa, UNLV, Utah State, and Virginia Tech. Richardson and his parents came to Stillwater on their own to visit the campus and Richardson said they fell in love with it. The son of Tracey and Bucky Richardson, he was born on March 23, 2002 in Houston, Texas. His grandfather, Rex, played for Texas State and the Dallas Cowboys. His uncle, Jeff Turner, played college football at Texas Tech. Richardson plans to major in business at Oklahoma State.
